Ingredients
350g dark chocolate
175g butter
3 eggs
225g caster sugar
3 tbsp dark rum/ amaretto/ brandy (you get the idea)
1 tsp vanilla extract
100g self raising flour
1 tbsp cocoa powder
100g nuts of any sort
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees/. Grease and line a tin around 27cm x 16cm.
2. Melt the chocolate and butter in a pan over a low heat
3. Beat the eggs, sugar, rum and vanilla extract in a bowl until thoroughly mixed
4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, nuts and melted chocolate mixture and stir to combine. Pour into the tin and bake for about 30 mins
5. Remove from the oven but leave to cool in the tin
